After being in lockdown for more than a year and shifting to online classes, children and parents (especially) were eagerly waiting for schools to re-open. Now that vaccines are rolling out and people are responsibly getting vaccinated, it’s becoming safer to allow interactions and conduct physical classes.

Going back to school after a long break like this can be overwhelming and exciting for some. As a parent, the most you can do to encourage your child is offering unending support and, of course, cooking them a delicious meal for lunchtime. Here are some back to school recipes your kids will love:

Feta pasta

1. Baked Feta Cheese Pasta

This recipe takes the pasta to a whole new level, and people across the globe have tried and tested it. It’s quick, easy, and super-duper tasty. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Feta cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic cloves Pepper
  • Salt
  • Italian seasoning
  • Cooked pasta
  • Fresh basil leaves

Begin with coating your baking tray with olive oil. Toss in the cherry tomatoes and about 5 to 6 garlic cloves. Next, cover it with spices like salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, or any other kind of spice your child might enjoy. Next, using a fork, make a space in the center of the tray and put your block of feta cheese there. Pour some olive oil over the cheese and let this bake for about 30 minutes.

Once the tomatoes and feta turn brown, take it out and mix everything until the block of feta completely melts. Then add your cooked pasta, some fresh basil, and voila! Pack this up in their lunch box with a cute note, and your child will come home with a hug for you.
