Hello, my dear friends! You all know how much I love creating fusion recipes on the blog. I am always inspired by my Indian spices while cooking but personally, I always like to create recipes that are easy to put together and tastes delicious. This Naantastic protein wrap is a favourite fusion recipe of mine.
If you have been following along on my Instagram stories you will know how much I enjoy making it every weekend. And the best part about this wrap is that it’s so easily customizable according to different spice levels.

Now for the little secret ingredient in my dish!

Naantastic protein wrap recipe
So are you guys ready to try this delicious recipe which is so yummy and takes the least time possible?
Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
• Garlic naan (or any naan of your choice)
• 1 large size onions, sliced • 2 med size tomatoes, slices
• ½ med size capsicum, sliced
• Olive oil
• 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
• Salt (as per taste)
• ½ tspn turmeric
• ¼ tspn paprika powder
• 1 tspn garam masala
• ½ tspn cumin powder
• 1 Cube of cottage cheese, 12 oz, chopped in small pieces
• Dressings – Mint chutney (store-bought), Mayo (store-bought), De La Vidua hot sauce (original & green pepper)
Steps to cook:
Cottage cheese filling
1. In a large pan, heat the oil, add minced garlic and let it sputter
2. Then add the onions, tomatoes and capsicum and let it cook
3. Next add salt, turmeric powder, garam masala, red paprika powder and cumin powder and let it cook for 5 – 7 minutes
4. After the mixture starts to wilt add a little water and the cottage cheese pieces to the mixture
5. Let the entire mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes
6. Keep the filling aside to cool down
Preparing the grilled cheese naan
1. Preheat the oven to 400deg F (as per the instructions on the naan packet)
2. Once preheated, heat the naan in the oven for 2-3 minutes
3. Take the naan outside and spread shredded cheese on it
4. Place the naan again in the oven for 2 minutes for the cheese to melt
Putting the Naantastic protein wrap together
1. Place the naan on a plate
2. Spread mint chutney and mayo on it with a spoon
3. Next add the layer of cooked cottage cheese filling to it
4. Add chopped onions, tomatoes and cilantro to this
5. Top the wrap with a little drizzle of the flavoured De La Vidua original and green pepper hot sauce
6. Enjoy the wrap!
