The cold weather is officially here meaning it’s time to dress up into something cozy, sip warm drinks, listen to the sound of sweet holiday music all around us and my favorite snuggle under a blanket near a fireplace at home and watch some amazing holiday movies. If I have learned to appreciate one thing this past year, it is that spending time together as a family is the most wonderful gift. And since as a family we love being outdoors as much as possible, we have been trying our best to make the most of the good but chilly weather season here in Buffalo.
One of our most favorite things to do is enjoy small cozy picnics to close by parks with some tasty treats and drinks and not to forget Mishika’s list of things to keep her busy. Lately a big hit and a sweet addition to her list of things has been the new Bluey books.
We love everything Bluey in our home. The Bluey TV show that is Mishika’s favourite to watch on Disney has also me hooked to it. It’s a complete delight to watch Bluey Heeler, a six-year-old puppy who is energetic, curious and comes with a beautiful imagination explore new adventures. Also joining her on her adventures are Bandit (dad), Chili (mom) and Bingo (younger sister), who lives in Australia and share Bluey’s imaginative play adventures equally.
As much as we enjoy these Bluey TV shows, I was so excited when I found out about the Bluey new book series launch which is available across statewide. I have been loving reading these Bluey stories to Mishika and adding to the fun is also a fun activity book from Bluey, which goes with us everywhere as well. Whether it’s our stroll in the park, a small picnic near the creek or to a friend’s gathering, Bluey books have been a great hit.
These bluey books can be an amazing addition for all those cozy moments at home this cold-weather season, as we all spend time together as a family and also, they make for an amazing gift idea for little ones for this upcoming holiday season. I am sure your little ones will love it as much as we do, and it will soon become a bedtime story hit in your home too.
