So finally, the weekend arrived but the weather was not very cooperative with us. It was a rainy day and rained non-stop for a few hours in the morning and as soon as the sunshine showed up in the afternoon we stepped out to enjoy a local park filled with a long boardwalk and massive woods. I love this wooden park and have been here multiple times. It is a 2 mile walk filled with woods and you also get to enjoy the occasional turtles and fishes in the water.

We walked the park for an hour and then again, we were hit by the rain. Mishika was overjoyed to be outside. This spring is her first spring as last year she was just six months old and we were in India for close to two months during this time. She is beyond excited to touch fallen leaves on the ground, fully grown grass and just be outside in the nature.I am hoping that the next week would be better and we can finally get rid of our winter jackets and be able to spend more time outside. Hoping for a warm week next week, until then sharing some beautiful pictures from our very rainy Saturday.
