With the air around us getting crisp and cold, it marks the beginning of a new season ‘fall’ and loads of activities to do around here….on the top of my head, baking apple pies, drinking Irish coffees, visiting local pumpkin farms, apple picking, bbq nights, bonfires and an exciting travel opportunity in the near future. Because this fall season I get to visit New England for the very first time which also happens to be famous for its beautiful fall colors, to attend my best friend Leslie’s baby shower in October. I have teamed up with a few of her girlfriends and are planning a fun and colorful themed baby shower to throw for her and celebrate her as she is soon going to be blessed with a beautiful baby girl.

Among all the many tasks that are out there to plan a baby shower, I am happy to wear the hat of party planning where I get to plan the invitations, return gifts and create the fun baby registry. Starting from the topmost and to stick to the theme of a ‘colorful’ baby shower I was on the lookout for colorful invites to send out to the guests! I was recently introduced to Basic Invites an online stationery company that helps you design invitations that are completely customizable. As soon as I looked through their many options available online, I completely fell in love with the colorful vibe that this site was creating.

The first thing that completely stood out on the site was the unlimited color options to choose from. There are around 180 color options that helped me design the invite as per my liking to the littlest details while staying in sync with the baby shower theme. I loved playing around with all the multiple colors and generate online previews to see how it would look once printed. Also, another great thing about Basic Invite was that it let me take printouts of the sample to physically view the invite and the paper quality before placing the final order. That came in very handy to make up my mind on the final design.

Once I was able to get the invite ready exactly as I wanted them to look I was completely amazed to find out that I could also make the envelope colorful by choosing from their over 40 different shades of color available online. My entire invite with the card, font, colors, and envelope is so super cute and so much in line with what our baby shower theme is and I can’t wait to send them out.

Lastly, my final part of the sending out invite was to collect all the guest addresses and send them out!! Well, Basic Invite made my last task super simple. I was sending out emails or calling everyone to collect everyone’s shipping addresses when I noticed that Basic Invite comes with its own address capturing service.. can you believe it!! This service was able to save me so much time. All I had to do was create a link and share it via social media (I prefer Facebook, but you can also use any other platforms like Instagram, Twitter, etc) and request all the guest to put in their address which will be stored in the customer’s account and can then be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all card orders. Some more baby shower invitations available online are as follows!

Undoubtedly, Basic invite was one of my best choices for the baby shower invites to go for. I am so excited as to how these baby shower invites have turned out and can’t wait to mail them to everyone. Basic Invites does have many more invitations for other different occasions to choose from.

Right now Basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code: 15FF51…With the customizable designs, unlimited color options, free printing sample, and an easy address collecting service, Basic Invites definitely wins in its field!! You can check out their youtube video here.
