This week as the weather was just perfect and warm enough we packed up our picnic baskets with fruits, snacks, drinks, and headed out to spend some golden sunshine hours out in the woods. I have noticed that as an individual I somehow always end up either in the woods, near the lake, or on a road trip to some hiking spot. I guess it’s safe to say that I am in love with nature! Also, I am trying my best to pass this on to my little Mishika by giving her a good dose of nature here and there.

I love coming back to this beautiful park also known as Margaret Louise Park which a few years back Mayank and I had just stumbled upon by chance. We saw a trail and decided to explore it (haha) I still remember the first time walking along this trail, I could actually feel goosebumps in my stomach while watching all the tall woody trees surrounding us. Well, nothing seemed to have changed yet! I still feel the same way every single time that we are here.

Our Sunday started pretty much the same, trying to catch our little girl as she gets way too excited as soon as she is outside, spotting turtles and fishes in the water and munching along the way. While Mishika enjoyed her baby snacks, I was too excited to try out a new flavor of snack which I happen to have discovered sometime back.  As you all know me, snacking for me is all about the flavors and the fun of it. My snacks are never boring…. so I was really happy with my snack pick for our picnic ‘Sahale Snacks Maple Pecans Glazed Mix’. If you haven’t tried them then a little heads up, you will really be surprised by the unique combination of the different real ingredients in just one packet. With every bite, there was a new and fun flavor to explore. Along with the Maple Pecan Mix, Mayank and I also tried out two different flavors Cherry Cocoa Coconut Mix and the Honey Almond Glazed Mix. Honestly, I cannot choose one over the other… They all come with their own unique combinations, flavors and were definitely a great snack find for our picnic on the go. I enjoyed munching on these while walking through the woods and enjoying the quietness and giving myself a nice break from as always chaotic life of being a ‘mom’ :). Sahale Snacks are available in a lot many more varieties and flavors to choose from. You can check and pick your favorite from here.

We spent a few good hours in the park, stopping at different look points, spotting the birds, saying ‘hi to the fishes and turtles’ and taking a lot of pictures (haha), munching on our snacks and creating a lot of fun memories along the way. Sharing some beautiful pictures that Mayank was able to capture on his camera from our sunny day!
